"On August 7th, DA turns five years old. Five years for a website like this should be a grand affair, one big event.

So don't submit anything on August 7th.

I'm talking a print, a deviation, a scrap...nothing.

Instead, just leave a comment. Visit a user's page and just say hi.

If someone wants to buy a subscription that day, I'm all in favor or it. It'll keep the servers going, and anything that keeps the hamster running is a good thing.

BUT...I think folks shouldn't buy any prints. No print subscriptions. That goes against the COMMUNITY theme for the day.

We want to put the COMMUNITY back into DA."

All righty so I've just got my motivation, and I'm not sure why but I think it has something to do with someone making me snort the other say Anyway I'm working on two contest submissions, an art trade, and a wallpaper, because I want a new wallpaper. My original wallpaper was a pickle with a raygun coming out of a little alien pod. I loved that pickle ever so much but I wanted a new wallpaper ^_^ With one of meh characters on it. So be on the lookout.... again!

I thought this guy had fallen off the planet! He's back and drawing great Naruto fanart.

I have a horrible weakness for cartoons, and Mr. Duenas is no exception, especially since he has Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, Star Wars, and Batman in his gallery this "newbie" is a "must see"

Oy, I love seing color themes from the same side of the color wheel! And this artist has no problem putting together pictures with a wonderful design and color scheme at all.

Ever wanted to see plushies and dolls with different textures and fabrics on DA? Well snuurg has got a lot of them! Personally I'm attatched to the turtle he made.

There's not many deviations in evalhis's gallery, but I like going there for the quality of the deviations. She gots some skillz.

DW3Girl has character designs after character designs after character designs, and they're colored and designed very well!

I've recently been finding at a lot of great photographers and in canadaphil's gallery he has wonderful angle shots and a bright and happy feel about his pictures. I go here if I want to cheer up.

Well I took a trip to this scifi gallery, and I liked what I saw! The martians who accompanied me were debating on which planet was their home planet, so don't ask them if they paid any attention to detail.

Calligraphy is a wonderful art form, and I don't see it around much. I'm a terribly addicted fan of it and I hope Errance updates some more!

Mr. GraFX has a gallery full of landscapes in case you ever want to take a look at the beautiful world we have out there.


I like luminoire's gallery because whenever I look at it I get this feeling like I'm floating or actually there in the composition. Another great photomanipulator and drawer!

Miss Clockwork is a talented photo manipulator and her photos have a nice soft feel to them. A great style and a great gallery!

With wonderful contrast and textures in this guy's gallery how can you not drop by for a look and be instantly hooked?

Pixelfish has a wonderful imagination and some excellent surreal compositions in her gallery.

This artist's pieces may seem awkward at first, but they have all wonderful little details hidden in them making the composition flow very well.

These are all new people I started dev-watching, I didn't include some but I'm waiting to save some features for some people I've been watching for a while . I hope you guys dropped by some galleries on here and if you didn't I will have to drag you there myself.
